Strategic Communications Specialist Corporate IT To enhance our successful
IT Governance Team
at the
Headquarters in Leoben, Austria , we are looking for a passionate individual to join Corporate IT Governance. In this role, you will ensure that IT structures, changes, policies, and processes are clearly communicated, understood, and effectively adopted across the organization. By translating technical requirements into accessible communication, supporting change initiatives, and strengthening governance maturity, you will help create transparency, alignment, and engagement throughout Corporate IT. This position reports to the Manager IT Governance.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and execute communication strategies for IT initiatives, changes, and events; create communication materials (e.g., presentations, newsletters) and organize IT events such as global IT townhalls; act as a key contact for IT communication topics.
Support change initiatives related to IT governance, process improvements, and IT projects; create adoption materials such as guides, FAQs, training content, and stakeholder communications.
Facilitate trainings and workshops to support adoption, build maturity, and enhance organizational readiness for IT changes.
Support the development and implementation of IT governance frameworks, standards, and policies; translate governance requirements into clear, non‑technical documentation and contribute to IT knowledge management.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Several years of relevant experience in IT, communications, or change management.
Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or ITIL, or willingness to learn and develop in this area is a plus.
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into business‑friendly language.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to understand processes, recognize improvement opportunities, and support governance maturity.
Curiosity for Emerging Technologies: A genuine interest in exploring new technology innovations and understanding how they can create value for the organization. You stay up to date with digital trends and enjoy turning new ideas into practical solutions.
