Internship Flight Operations

We offer exciting insights into the aviation industry and combine administrative tasks, innovation projects and communication strategies for our pilots. As an intern, you will be involved in all three areas and gain a comprehensive overview of the internal processes and challenges of an international company.

Start: December to 12 months fixed-term

Tasks
Flight Operations is responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of pilots. You will get a taste of cross-fleet topics and drive projects forward independently

• You support administrative tasks in day-to-day operations
• You prepare projects independently and carry them out within flight operations and across departments
• You will be involved in the planning and implementation of information sessions and meetings for pilots and colleagues
• You support digitalization from the idea to implementation
• You support the creation of presentations, broadcast texts, videos, graphics and other communication materials for internal communication for pilots
• You work on various innovation projects
• You design and organize (cockpit) talent platforms and activities

Requirements

• You are enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment must be enclosed with the application)
• You are interested in the aviation industry and enjoy familiarizing yourself with various topics
• You have analytical and conceptual thinking skills and strategic understanding
• You have an open-minded personality and enjoy communicating with different professional groups within Austrian Airlines
• You have a high level of problem-solving skills
• You are familiar with MS Office applications and have advanced Excel and Power Point skills
• You are fluent in written and spoken German and English
• You have an unrestricted work permit for Austria/the European Union
