Tasks

• You monitor and analyze political, regulatory, and economic developments at national, EU, and international levels, focusing on transport, competition, sustainability, and fiscal policies
• You support measures to strengthen Austrian Airlines\‘ and Lufthansa Group\’s regulatory and competitive position
• You prepare position papers, briefings, and submissions for stakeholder meetings and legislative processes, maintain relationships with decision-makers, authorities, associations, and NGOs, and align closely with internal partners
• You also take ownership of projects and drive them forward through collaboration and stakeholder engagement

Requirements

• You hold an advanced university degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Business, or a related field
• You have several years of experience in Austrian politics, public administration, Government Affairs, or a related area, ideally with a focus on aviation or transport
• You possess a strong understanding of political and regulatory processes at national and EU levels
• You think strategically, analyze effectively, act hands-on, and turn ideas into action
• You can communicate and negotiate fluently in German and English
• You are a team player with a diplomatic and confident demeanor
• You have unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market
