AI-Powered Hardware Security Engineer (m / w / d) – Defensive FPGA Security

Your mission

• Develop defensive security measures for FPGA-based UAV systems to prevent hardware hacking and tampering
• Implement AI-powered countermeasures against side-channel attacks, fault injection, and reverse engineering
• Design secure boot mechanisms, cryptographic protections, and physical attack resistance for UAV hardware
• Optimize real-time anomaly detection to identify and mitigate threats at the hardware level
• Work with FPGA, ASIC, and embedded security teams to enhance UAV resilience in contested environments
• Ensure compliance with security standards (NIST, MIL-STD, ITAR, DO-254, Common Criteria, NATO STANAGs)

Your profile

• Experience in hardware security, FPGA security, or embedded system protection
• Knowledge of side-channel analysis, fault injection, and tamper-resistant design
• Familiarity with cryptographic implementations on FPGA / ASIC (AES, ECC, PQC)
• Hands-on experience with Verilog, VHDL, HLS, or RTL security techniques
• Understanding of AI-driven security monitoring for real-time threat detection

Nice to have

• Experience in secure UAV avionics, trusted execution environments (TEE), and post-quantum cryptography
• Background in AI-powered security analytics and machine learning for hardware anomaly detection
