About the role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

1. Act as a strategic finance advisor to key business units, ensuring financial alignment with company goals.
2. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for defense contracts, R&D, and commercial operations.
3. Conduct financial analysis, cost control, and profitability assessments for UAV systems and SaaS monetization models.
4. Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR/DFARS, NATO procurement standards, and defense industry financial regulations.
5. Develop data-driven insights and KPIs to support executive decision-making.
6. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and government affairs teams to optimize contract pricing and financial structuring.
7. Work with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and business intelligence tools to improve reporting efficiency.
8. Identify financial risks and opportunities, ensuring sustainable long-term growth.

Your profile

We are looking for candidates with:

• 5+ years experience in financial planning, business partnering, or strategic finance.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with government contracts, aerospace, or dual-use technology sectors.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and forecasting tools.
• Ability to bridge finance and operational teams, translating business needs into financial strategies.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, UAV, or high-tech financial management.
• Knowledge of public funding structures, grants, and defense R&D financing (DARPA, EDF, EU Horizon, NATO programs).
• Background in M&A, investment planning, and financial risk assessment.

Additional requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Nationality of a NATO member nation or close ally.
• Successful candidates will be required to obtain security clearance.
