Auxo Talent is supporting an established technology company developing advanced electronic products for demanding technical environments.
We are looking for an FPGA Engineer who enjoys working close to the hardware and wants ownership across the full FPGA development lifecycle, from VHDL design and verification through to integration and hardware-level debugging.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain FPGA modules using VHDL
- Verify functional blocks using simulation environments
- Integrate internal and third-party IP into FPGA designs
- Support timing closure, interface definition and pin constraints
- Debug and validate designs directly on target hardware
- Use oscilloscopes, logic analysers and laboratory equipment during integration
- Create design and verification documentation
- Contribute to technical requirements and engineering decisions
- Collaborate with FPGA, embedded software and hardware engineers
What we're looking for
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related discipline
- Professional experience in FPGA development
- Experience covering both design and verification
- Familiarity with IP integration, interfaces and timing constraints
- Experience with commercial FPGA toolchains
- Comfortable debugging directly on target hardware
- Structured and independent approach to engineering
- Professional written and spoken English
Nice-to-have experience
- FPGA-based processors, SoCs or microcontrollers
- Embedded Linux
- Hardware-software integration
