Overview
As a Senior Project Manager at Avaloq, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs within Product Delivery & Quality to build and roll out new product functionalities for market-leading clients. You will manage scope, timelines, budgets and quality from inception to completion, translating product vision into actionable delivery. You’ll collaborate with kernel development and regional teams, executives, and clients to drive on-time, on-budget outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence multi-cloud SaaS/PaaS/IaaS programs while shaping Avaloq’s product delivery capabilities and client impact.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including timelines and budgets for regulatory and innovation projects
- Manage scope, risks, issues and quality across the lifecycle aligning with Top Management
- Develop mitigation strategies to address risks and resolve issues
- Provide weekly project status updates to Top Management/C-suite
- Bridge product vision and delivery to ensure deadlines are met
- Lead cross-divisional and cross-functional project teams to achieve milestones
- Oversee project budgets and monitor ETC in line with progress
- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 8-10 years of Project Management experience delivering complex cross-functional projects in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and/or BPaaS
- Proven track record in international and diverse environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and software tools (Microsoft Project, Jira)
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage risks, develop treatment strategies, and make decisions
- Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong end-to-end execution experience across multi-team programs
- Exceptional leadership and team motivation skills
- Aptitude to discuss technical details with developers and drive consensus
- Fluency in English; German is an asset
- PMP certification or equivalent (bonus)
- RFI/RFP, vendor negotiation and third-party management experience (bonus)
