Job Description

  • Be responsible for multiple (sub-)categories, defining category strategies and implementing those in alignment with business strategy
  • Manage portfolio of vendors and global ecosystem within the category
  • Manage relationships to priority-vendors within the category throughout the whole life-cycle, including performance and KPIs management
  • Own RfXs and initiatives (e.g., savings, performance enhancement) within the category and perform negotiations for critical contracts and framework agreements
  • Support the Sales organization in joint sales engagements and foster Avaloq know-how amongst selected Vendors

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in category and vendor relationship management for IT or banking services
  • Proven track record in managing complex contracting setups and achieving commercial objectives in negotiations
  • University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar field
  • Fluent in English and advanced German skills; other languages would be an advantage
