Job Description
- Be responsible for multiple (sub-)categories, defining category strategies and implementing those in alignment with business strategy
- Manage portfolio of vendors and global ecosystem within the category
- Manage relationships to priority-vendors within the category throughout the whole life-cycle, including performance and KPIs management
- Own RfXs and initiatives (e.g., savings, performance enhancement) within the category and perform negotiations for critical contracts and framework agreements
- Support the Sales organization in joint sales engagements and foster Avaloq know-how amongst selected Vendors
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in category and vendor relationship management for IT or banking services
- Proven track record in managing complex contracting setups and achieving commercial objectives in negotiations
- University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar field
- Fluent in English and advanced German skills; other languages would be an advantage
