Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer System Integration specialist to join our dynamic team in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects, combining Java development skills with DevOps practices and system integration expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based applications and services
• Assist in implementing DevOps practices and tools to streamline development and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate various systems and applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
• Help maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in development and production environments
• Learn and apply best practices in software development, DevOps, and system integration
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong foundation in Java programming and object‑oriented design principles
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
• Basic scripting skills in languages like Yaml or Bash
• Experience in test‑driven development
• Experience in the financial sector would be considered a plus
