Overview

In this role you drive Avaloq’s global corporate real estate and workplace initiatives from Zurich, shaping a scalable real estate program. You work with internal leadership, landlords and partners to deliver office expansions, relocations, refurbishments and transformations while upholding governance, financial controls and safety. By optimizing the portfolio and leading cross-functional delivery, you help sustain a high-performance, sustainable workplace culture aligned with Avaloq’s mission to democratize wealth management.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Lead real estate, workplace and portfolio projects (expansions, relocations, refurbishments, consolidations, transformations)
• Support global Corporate Real Estate strategy deployment across the portfolio
• Manage full project lifecycle (business case, planning, procurement, governance, delivery, handover, post-project review)
• Lead or support lease negotiations, renewals, rent reviews, landlord relationships
• Develop business cases, portfolio analyses and strategic recommendations
• Establish governance, reporting, approvals, risk registers, and controls
• Monitor project performance, budgets, forecasts, milestones, risks and deliverables
• Ensure robust financial management (budget control, forecasting, cost tracking, PO management, invoice governance)
• Coordinate stakeholders (internal, landlords, brokers, consultants, contractors, service providers)
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change controls with mitigation/escalation
• Maintain project documentation, governance records and audit trails
• Support procurement activities, supplier selection, contract negotiations and vendor performance
• Drive portfolio optimization, sustainability, cost efficiency and continuous improvement
• Provide advisory support on workplace and property matters with operational teams
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment throughout delivery
• Serve as on-site Safety Officer (SIBE), plan and lead mandatory evacuation drills

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Master's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
• 10+ years in corporate real estate, portfolio management, property transactions, project management or workplace transformation
• Proven experience leading complex international real estate programs
• Strong knowledge of lease management, landlord negotiations, portfolio planning and project delivery
• Experience governance, financial management, reporting, controls and risk management
• Experience preparing business cases, management reports and strategic recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Experience managing suppliers, consultants, contractors and external partners
• Familiarity with Swiss workplace safety regulations; prior on-site Safety Officer (SIBE) experience or managing building emergency concepts
• Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 or equivalent) highly desirable
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in German and English; additional French or Italian beneficial
