Overview
In this Senior Project Manager role, you will steer complex, cross-functional programs from inception to delivery within Avaloq’s Product Delivery & Quality team. You’ll translate product vision into actionable execution, manage budgets and timelines, and report progress to executive leadership. You will coordinate multi-domain teams to meet milestones while maintaining quality and scope. This position offers the chance to influence product roll-outs for leading financial clients and to grow through mentoring junior project managers.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with timelines and budgets across regulatory and innovation projects
- Manage scope, risks, issues, and quality throughout the lifecycle in alignment with top management
- Create mitigation strategies to address risks and resolve issues
- Provide weekly project status updates to top management and executives
- Bridge product vision with delivery-focused execution to meet deadlines
- Lead cross-divisional teams to achieve objectives and milestones
- Oversee budgets and monitor ETC in relation to project progress
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify improvements and lessons learned
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 8-10 years of project management experience with a track record of delivering complex cross-functional projects
- Proven ability to deliver results in international and diverse environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and tools (Microsoft Project, Jira)
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management at all levels
- Experience managing risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience in end-to-end execution of complex programs spanning cross-functional teams
- Exceptional leadership and team motivation skills
- Aptitude to discuss technical details with developers and drive consensus
- English fluency; German is an asset
- PMP certification or equivalent is a nice-to-have
- Experience in RFI/RFP processes, vendor negotiation, contracting, and managing third parties
