For our client, an international tech company, we are filling the following position with immediate effect in Frankfurt am Main:
Data Center Technician (m/f/d) Logistics Support
YOUR TASKS
- Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations
- Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision
- Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor activities)
- Ensures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging
- Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various data center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity
- Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process
- Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging
- Performs destruction of data bearing devices following all documented procedures and runbooks
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma and first experience in warehouse/supply chain in an information technology environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field
- Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous datacenter experience a plus
- Logistical background (warehouse, data centre)
- Manual/physical labour experience
- Strong written and spoken English skills required
