Your Job Description
- Manage and coordinate cryptography-related aerospace projects, including secure communication and data protection solutions
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into secure data transmission concepts, cryptographic system architectures, and technical specifications
- Design, specify, integrate, and verify cryptographic systems within complex aerospace and defence platforms
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, testing, quality assurance, and project management to ensure successful system implementation
- Develop system documentation, test concepts, and verification procedures while ensuring compliance with aerospace and IT security standards and regulations
Your qualification profile
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field, combined with relevant professional experience.
- Strong expertise in cryptography, encryption technologies, secure communication systems, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience in systems engineering, system architecture, system integration, and technical project coordination.
- Knowledge of aerospace, defence, or other safety-critical environments as well as experience in requirements analysis, specification, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, structured working approach, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams; fluent English required, German skills are a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site is required.
