Security Officer (m/f/d)

TenneT is growing rapidly to achieve its strategic goals. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are seeking a passionate Security Officer (m/f/d) for our locations in Bayreuth or Lehrte who will contribute to this mission. Could that be you?

You will serve as an Information Security Officer (m/f/d) focusing on Governance, Risk, and Compliance within the Business Technology Organisation (BTO), ensuring the confidentiality , integrity , and availability of company data and systems .

1. You work in a second line of defense as a trusted advisor for IT teams regarding cybersecurity.
2. You orchestrate cybersecurity within the unit and support the corporate ISMS using industry best practices to protect information and IT systems.
3. You coordinate closely with the business and manage stakeholder requirements for security.
4. You develop, implement, and enforce security policies , procedures , and standards .
5. You facilitate risk assessments to identify potential security threats and support risk management strategies .
6. You develop and conduct training and awareness programs on cybersecurity best practices.
7. You ensure suppliers comply with security requirements.
8. You hold a degree in Information Technology, Information Security, General Security , or Business Administration with relevant experience.
9. You work independently .
10. You can work with various stakeholders and quickly identify core issues.
11. You possess deep knowledge of security technologies and can communicate effectively with management.
12. You are familiar with frameworks such as ITIL 4, CIS, GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST .
13. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are advantageous.
14. You have strong social and communication skills .
15. You are willing to travel domestically and internationally for knowledge exchange and collaboration with colleagues, including Dutch partners.
