Business Consultant TMT

Avenga is looking for an experienced Business Consultant. As a Business Consultant within the TMT (Telecom, Media, Technology) vertical, you’ll play a key role in both pre-sales and project delivery. You’ll work closely with strategic clients, focusing on the following core areas: Pre-sales and Up-sales, Service Catalogue Ownership, Thought Leadership, and High-level consultancy.

This role is inspiring because you will be the first CTO Business Consultant within the TMT vertical at Qinshift/Avenga. While we have many talented professionals working in this space, this position requires someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in building something new from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and define the role while drawing on your experience to establish a strong presence within the vertical and the broader Business Consultancy team.

You will join the Business Consultancy team in our CTO organization, a global community of experts within various industry verticals. As part of the TMT vertical, your key stakeholders will be in the sales and delivery vertical, with close collaboration from cross-functional teams.

What you bring along:

• 8-10 years of TMT experience in Europe, with a focus on digital transformation and business development;
• Comprehensive understanding of TMT processes, systems, and regulatory landscapes;
• Strong consulting skills with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions;
• German or Swedish and English proficiency at C1-C2 level;
• As a business consultant, we expect you to have a broad network of professionals from the industry with whom to engage and collaborate.

This is your mission:

• Engage with our largest and most strategic clients in pre-sales and up-sales activities to identify opportunities and craft technology solutions that align with their business objectives. Ensure strategic continuity by following through with the project during the first 3–6 months when necessary;
• Own and develop the TMT (Telecom, Media, Technology) services within our global service catalog. Ensure these services are current, aligned with market trends, and incorporate emerging technologies. Drive innovation to keep our offerings in step with industry and technology shifts;
• Represent Qinshift/Avenga as a thought leader by delivering impactful presentations, speaking at industry conferences, and contributing to white papers and blog posts. Help shape the conversation on digital transformation within the TMT sector;
• Participate in high-level consultancy projects during the early phases of new client engagements to maintain strategic direction. This responsibility may involve travel;
• Conduct in-depth market analysis, monitor regulatory changes, and provide strategic insights that enable clients to adapt and thrive;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design customized solutions and offer high-quality advisory services and training to clients.
