As our presence in the Marine Renewable Energy industry continues to expand, we are actively seeking a Head of Account Management – Germany to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge projects, drive strategic partnerships, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term business growth.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, addressing their needs and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  3. Develop and execute key account plans, ensuring revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  4. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability.
  5. Work closely with internal teams (Talent Acquisition, Management, KAM) to deliver customized solutions.
  6. Manage your team of engineers and consultants, with regular follow-up.
  7. Be the efficient interface between other BUs of the group and local clients.

Country & Business Development

  1. Develop and implement a country expansion strategy, identifying new business opportunities and market trends.
  2. Establish partnerships, distribution channels, and networks to accelerate market penetration.
  3. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry regulations.
  4. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
  5. Identify and develop new business opportunities, and existing client relationships.
  6. Build and maintain a strong network locally.
  7. Work closely with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
  8. Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  9. Give support to the Top Management identifying potential local M&A.

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  1. Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  2. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  3. Build and maintain a strong employer brand to position the company as an employer of choice.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Market Expansion (5+ years preferred).
  3. Expertise on Offshore O&G or Wind industry is mandatory.
  4. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  7. Knowledge of the German market, including cultural, economic, and regulatory factors.
  8. Fluent in English and German.
