As our presence in the Marine Renewable Energy industry continues to expand, we are actively seeking a Head of Account Management – Germany to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge projects, drive strategic partnerships, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, addressing their needs and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop and execute key account plans, ensuring revenue growth and client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability.
- Work closely with internal teams (Talent Acquisition, Management, KAM) to deliver customized solutions.
- Manage your team of engineers and consultants, with regular follow-up.
- Be the efficient interface between other BUs of the group and local clients.
Country & Business Development
- Develop and implement a country expansion strategy, identifying new business opportunities and market trends.
- Establish partnerships, distribution channels, and networks to accelerate market penetration.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry regulations.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, and existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain a strong network locally.
- Work closely with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to drive revenue growth.
- Give support to the Top Management identifying potential local M&A.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand to position the company as an employer of choice.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Market Expansion (5+ years preferred).
- Expertise on Offshore O&G or Wind industry is mandatory.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Knowledge of the German market, including cultural, economic, and regulatory factors.
- Fluent in English and German.
