Position: Audio Visual / IT Support Technician (Maternity Cover)

Job:

The AV/IT Support Technician is responsible for daily support of programs and events at the center. The technicians ensure that the Executive Business Center is set up, maintained, and shut down in accordance with the operating plan. They create a professional environment for customers and employees during events. The technicians work closely with stakeholders and the business lead to ensure proper coverage and planning of events and programs.

Responsibilities:

• On-Site Support: Provide support for visitors and executive-level events, ensuring a professional environment for customers and employees during events.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct preventive maintenance and daily inspections of AV and IT systems, diagnosing and resolving network issues in collaboration with customer technicians.
• Event Management: Create and implement production plans for events, setting up and operating equipment during events.
• System Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain AV systems in office environments, integrating AV systems into the IT network infrastructure.
• Documentation and Communication: Create technical documentation and assist with user training, using remote access software for Mac, Linux, and Windows systems.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in technical support.
• Expertise in video conferencing, video production, or post-production.
• Experience with Google Workspace and conferencing tools like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with operating systems and network diagnostics, familiarity with SSH, VNC, and navigating remote file systems.
• Social and Language Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and strong command of both German and English (spoken and written).

Working Conditions:

• Working Hours: 40-hour workweek (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).
• Dress Code: Smart Casual.
