Your mission
Supply Chain- and Operations Planning: Own the full S&OP cycle — demand forecasting, capacity planning, inventory targeting, and rolling scenario planning for component lead‑time risk (semiconductors, electronic assemblies). Lead key supplier relationships including dual‑sourcing strategy.
Operational Controlling: Own the KPI architecture (OTIF, COGS variance, gross margin per unit). Run a monthly performance review with data‑backed root‑cause analysis. Partner with Finance on budgeting, monthly close, and unit economics.
Hardware & Regulatory Compliance: Govern technical product certification for our ICT/IoT devices across EU and selected non‑EU markets. Steer the compliance roadmap for new geographies in lockstep with the product roadmap.
Digitalization & Process Improvement: Support the Operations IT roadmap (MRP, Salesforce, Portal). Identify and remove waste across digital process flows. Drive automation and lead cross‑functional change initiatives with measurable ROI.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and develop the operations team as we scale. Lead by example: hands‑on, data‑driven, and outcome‑focused.
Your profile
5+ years of relevant experience — ideally a deliberate mix of operations/supply‑chain consulting and in‑house execution at a hardware company.
Deep S&OP expertise and a demonstrated track record of transforming a real supply chain — not just slideware. You can talk through SKUs, lead times, MOQs, and BOM levels from memory.
Industry background in electronics, hardware, ICT/IoT, automotive components, or comparable physical‑product environments. Pure software backgrounds will not qualify.
Operational controlling fluency: you live in data and BI tooling and make decisions from numbers, not anecdotes.
Hands‑on familiarity with ICT/IoT hardware compliance (CE / RED / EMC as a baseline).
Experience leading an ERP or operations‑IT transformation (selection, implementation, or major upgrade) — not just as a stakeholder.
Passion for using AI – you leverage technology to work faster, more accurately, and more efficiently.
Proven people leadership: you have built and developed a team, not just managed a queue of individual contributors.
Fluent in English; working German is a strong plus. You default to action over deliberation, are intellectually honest, comfortable with ambiguity — a builder, not a maintainer, who rolls up their sleeves when the situation calls for it.
Strong communication and presence, solution‑oriented mindset, and a desire to work alongside colleagues in the office rather than alone at home.
Why us?
A build‑and‑transform mandate: you take end‑to‑end ownership of AVILOO’s physical product flow and professionalize it for scale up.
Short decision paths, direct access to leadership — your input counts from day one.
Real budget and authority to upgrade the tooling stack (ERP, MRP, BI).
A category‑defining product in one of the most consequential markets of the decade: EV battery health and second‑life economics.
Use of cutting‑edge tools and artificial intelligence for optimization.
Reliable work‑life balance – personally guaranteed by the CEO.
A performance‑ and team‑oriented work environment where success is celebrated together.
The minimum salary for this position is € 3,954 gross/month in accordance with the Austrian IT Collective Agreement (full‑time, 38.5h/week). Actual compensation is based on qualifications and experience and significantly exceeds the collective agreement minimum.
