Job Description
The HR Advisor role is a gatekeeper of the quality in executing HR Processes
that impact day-to-day employees\‘ experience.
Our people should feel supported and cared for, and this employee
experience is the performance purpose for HR Advisors.
As part of the P&O local teams, reporting into the Senior HR Country Manager,
the HR Advisor has process interlinks with almost all parts of our P&O Function:
- Focuses on enhancing AVIV’s HR policies and processes at the local level (adopt, implement, interpret and improve)
- Supporting the delivery of the HR cycle with administrative tasks related to hiring, onboarding, annual performance management, job moves, exit, etc.
- You will be the primary contact for employees and managers in the location and you actively drive the boost of employees’ experience.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- You own and deliver the execution of employee contracts and all documentation related to employees movements and status.
- You are the 1st contact point for employees in the location: support employees on a day-to-day basis and answer questions about company policies, HR processes, local employment conditions and benefits.
- You work in close relationship with payroll team/payroll provider to offer input for payroll preparation.
- You act as a primary point of contact for HR queries including employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts.
- You focus on local case management and resolution, by consulting regarding the inquiries, working through options with HRBPs and managers, advising on labor local regulations and best practices.
- You own the implementation of the optional resolutions. Ensure proper documentation of inquiries, root cause, and resolutions.
- You support the integrity of employee records and Workday data, assuring legal and regulatory compliance. You own and drive HRIS data accuracy.
- You oversee and deliver the onboarding (including hiring cases with complex set-up – relocation, VISA set-up, etc.) and orientation process to ensure new hires are integrated successfully.
- You are responsible for the offboarding process.
- You act as co-responsible for the implementation of P&O projects across AVIV.
- You maintain and update HR policies and improve internal procedures.
- You ensure the organization is legally aligned with country-specific labor laws when tasked with things such as hiring, workplace rules, and employee treatment.
- You demonstrate knowledge regarding HR processes, labor regulations, social relationships management in order to properly advise, interpret policies, enable problem solving and navigation.
- You build a close relationship with local Finance and Legal teams to ensure a correct and efficient flow of local processes.
Qualifications
YOUR PROFILE
- 4 + years of HR operations/generalist work experience; experience HRIS systems and payroll preparation.
- Experience in communicating with different internal and external stakeholders and confidently manage successful collaboration within various contexts.
- Knowledge of German employment law.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and procedures, employment relations and HR information systems.
- Proficiency in Payroll systems, SAP and/or Workday, Excel.
- Knowledgeable working in HRIS.
- Have worked in a rapid, fast-moving environment, which is both complex and changing.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and drive projects to completion, in a complex workload.
- Collaborative working style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to find solutions.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
