Overview
In this role you will lead the accounting operations for our Frankfurt-based finance team within the Western Europe cluster. You will ensure IFRS-aligned financial reporting, oversee month-end closes and consolidation, and maintain tax and regulatory compliance. You’ll drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business strategy. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal standards
- Lead monthly closing and consolidate financial statements
- Ensure compliance with local tax, VAT, corporate tax, and payroll regulations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for compliance and timely reporting
- Collaborate on budgets and forecasts with the Finance and Administration Manager
- Partner with HR provider for accurate payroll management
- Work with cross-functional teams to align finances with sales, marketing, and operations
- Drive process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification is an advantage
- 3–5 years of accounting experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Solid knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with French GAAP is a plus
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Fluent in German and English
