Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing large German Enterprises in the Financial Services Market? Do you have the business savvy with clear hunting and farming capabilities and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology by increasing the adoption and market segment presence of AWS. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales / account management and a technical background that enables him / her to drive engagement at the executive level, with the business side of clients, as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate should also be a self-starter, prepared to develop and execute a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory within the \’Financial Services industries\‘ for Insurance or Banking clients.
  2. Develop and execute a business plan, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
  3. Manage a set of Key Accounts strategically and concurrently.
  4. Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and related regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive AWS adoption.
  6. Communicate AWS’ value and influence on market trends such as digitalization, IoT, DevOps, data analytics, and cloud/business transformation up to C-Level.
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant experience in business acumen combined with technology-related account management or field sales roles; a strong track record in sales, consulting, business development, or sales engineering.
  • Experience working with complex enterprise accounts that must comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Deep understanding of customer use cases and industry trends in Financial Services.
  • Proven hunting ability, capable of working independently and autonomously to drive projects to completion in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English, suitable for business and subject matter discussions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Multiple years of industry expertise in one of the sub-industries of Financial Services: Insurance or Banking, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
  • Extensive customer network within the industry.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Certified cloud experience (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner).
