Our Business Unit Real Assets is looking for a role in the Financial Management Controlling Group (FMCG) in Frankfurt am Main. You already have professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in the real estate sector, and now wish to take on new challenges at one of the leading global asset managers? Then become part of our multi‑person FMCG team!
You will supply our clients as well as fund and asset management with fund and asset models, planning, and budgets. Additionally, you will prepare internal and external reports, conduct performance measurements, analyses, and controls (variance analysis), and create reports for risk controlling.
Key Accountabilities
- Financial Reporting & Dashboards: Prepare and review periodic finance and accounting reports for regulated real estate vehicles, including ad‑hoc internal and external reports.
- Portfolio & Planning Coordination: Manage portfolio planning processes, create planning schedules, and provide commentary on portfolio results.
- Forecasting & Variance Analysis: Develop forecasts and variance analyses using IT tools (including IFRS and cash flow aspects).
- Service Provider Oversight & Data Quality: Coordinate external providers (Property Managers, Corporate Managers, Fund Service Providers), ensure accurate and timely data, and maintain standard reporting templates.
- Compliance & Data Management: Ensure global data availability and reinforce risk management aligned with compliance objectives.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Business Administration (Finance or Real Estate)
- Experience in Accounting, tax items as VAT/CIT/WHT compliance matters, qualification ideally within an operational/financial reporting role (HGB, IFRS, German Tax GAAP, LUX GAAP), with exposure to/understanding of Real Estate
- Experience in audit and financial control in Real Estate, Asset Management and/or Project Management
- Confident use of IT (especially advanced Excel) and excellent analytical skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English & German
- Resilient and organized, able to stay focused and productive under tight timelines
- Excellent communication skills, reliability and team player
