For more experienced candidates, there will be opportunities to mentor junior underwriters, contribute to process improvements, and take on leadership responsibilities in underwriting initiatives. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing /h3 ul liSupport the underwriting of construction and engineering treaties through independent analysis and comprehensive risk assessment of client submissions, including understanding risk structures and exposures. /li liDevelop and formulate quotations, pricing, and underwriting approval documents, ensuring prompt processing of slips and policy wordings. /li liHelp grow and maintain a profitable in-force book by identifying new opportunities and effectively managing renewals. /li liCollaborate closely with team members, actuarial functions, client advocates, market leaders, and operational units to ensure cohesive and effective underwriting processes. /li liConduct risk analysis considering cedent exposures, lines of business, and geographic factors; identify and evaluate exposures to ensure adherence to limits and risk management frameworks. /li liContribute to the development and enhancement of exposure management and reporting tools, supporting the ongoing improvement of risk monitoring processes. /li liUtilize actuarial tools and work collaboratively with regional and global teams to analyze, assess, and price risks accurately. /li liAssist in producing comprehensive and accurate data reports, supporting strategic decision-making. /li liAnalyze internal reports, loss runs, and financial data, conducting research to evaluate the risk profile of each account. /li liStructure deals, define policy conditions, and manage capacity in alignment with underwriting guidelines and our risk appetite strategy. /li liSupport the development of best practices in underwriting and risk assessment, mentoring junior team members where appropriate, and sharing expertise to foster team growth. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 pWe’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: /p h3Required Skills And Abilities /h3 ul liSeasoned professional in Construction and Engineering or Energy treaty underwriting /li liFluent in English and German.
