Job Description

Team lead for our loyalty team in our editorial section

  • You will be part of an international and diverse 6-person development team as a lead and an important member of the editorial section.
  • You will be responsible for the development of the individual team members, motivating and helping them to achieve their goals.
  • In this position, you will work closely with colleagues from other departments and our stakeholders.
  • You will be a pragmatic voice showing where to invest engineering efforts to drive business outcomes.
  • You will manage various projects simultaneously and work with varying tech-stacks.
  • You will be responsible for establishing a technical roadmap and balancing product and engineering concerns.

Qualifications

Positive, ambitious person with a passion for tech and people management

  • You have proven leadership experience, working with software engineering teams.
  • You have excellent abilities to manage multiple projects and adeptly handle frequent switches between different technology stacks.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of backend development, particularly in Java and Golang – additional experience in technologies like React, Cypress, and Kotlin would be beneficial.
  • You possess a solid understanding of cloud infrastructures, especially with AWS and Kubernetes.
  • You have great communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
  • You are solution-oriented, like to tackle complex technical challenges, and are open to exploring new paths.
  • You are fluent in English – German would be a plus.
