As Lead Application Development, you lead and develop an application development team, ensuring technical excellence and the delivery of innovative software solutions aligned with strategic business objectives. You foster a collaborative and modern team culture while supporting the professional growth of your team members. What you will do:
Lead, mentor, and support the professional growth of the development team
Foster a collaborative culture and encourage knowledge sharing across the team
Ensure adherence to development standards, architectural principles, and quality guidelines
Drive continuous improvement through modern technologies, DevOps practices, and low-code platforms
Support the team in solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality software solutions on time
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and other leads to align development activities with business and organizational goals
What you bring & who you are:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field
Experience leading and developing teams with the ability to motivate and empower employees
Several years of experience in software development with strong knowledge of modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools
Deep understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban as well as DevOps practices
Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, microservices architectures, and CI/CD pipelines
Ideally, experience with low-code platforms, especially Mendix, for rapid application development
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills with a collaborative mindset
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
