Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize our SQL Server high-availability groups, including SQL Server permissions management, to ensure smooth operation and secure, efficient database management.
• Manage and develop SQL Server replication processes.
• Analyze databases, identify performance issues, optimize queries and indexes, monitor server performance, and implement tuning measures.
• Manage Azure On-Premises Data Gateways.
• Document SQL Server & database infrastructure and processes in Confluence.

Profile

• Extensive experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator (Senior level).
• Ideally, a MS-SQL certification (e.g., MCDBA / MCSA / MCSE).
• Experience with Azure databases, Azure SQL Managed Services, and Azure VMs.
• Background in TSQL, Windows Servers, and \’Always On\‘.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID.
• Fluent in German and English.
