Shape the next generation of active medical devices.
At B. Braun Avitum AG, we develop innovative systems for infusion and dialysis therapies that help improve patient care every day. Within our interdisciplinary R&D teams, complex active medical devices are created to meet the highest standards of functionality, safety, and reliability.
To strengthen our Research & Development organization, we are looking for an Electrical Development Engineer (f/m/d) to help transform innovative ideas into market-ready products and actively contribute to the future of medical technology.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Specify, simulate, and develop electronic and mechatronic assemblies for use in active medical devices
- Design and implement solutions in the fields of sensors, embedded systems, and electronic circuitry
- Take ownership of assemblies throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and development to product maintenance and end-of-life management
- Plan, execute, verify, and document development and testing activities
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including software, systems, mechanical, and quality engineers
- Coordinate and technically oversee external development partners and suppliers
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of innovative technologies for future medical devices
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline
- Experience in the development of analog and digital circuits
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-related software development
- Experience with E-CAD tools for schematic and PCB design
- Ideally, familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical device industry
