In this role, you are responsible for creating the most realistic market forecast, serving as a backbone of the wider business to improve customer satisfaction, drive profitability, and a lean E2E supply chain.
You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to know the market inside out and to elevate and enrich the base demand that comes from the regional Centre-of-Excellence team. You own conversations and challenge the forecasts based on your extensive knowledge and data-driven insights. You work closely with the regional Centre-of-Excellence team to continuously improve the demand signal and our ways-of-working.
You will inspire through your insights, communication & analytical mindset and act as a strategic thought partner to the UKI team to ensure an accurate view is captured and reflected in easy to consume formats that aid in tactical supply chain management and strategic planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES â WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
Forecasting Demand
Local Forecast enrichment with market insights; focus on the near (0-4 months) forecast in weekly buckets
Collaborate with local sales, marketing, and finance to refine forecasts through demand reviews for focus customers and/or channels (BU depended)
Analyse total market volumes and adjust forecast for ânon-focusâ customers where relevant; ensuring a solid market demand plan to be reviewed by BU leadership
Track KPIs and continuously improve through projects
Support CoE with local insights on Portfolio & Product Lifecycle Management
Exceptional history cleaning to support CoE with local insights and drive better overall predictive analytics signals
Work cross-functionally with supply chain, production, marketing, and sales teams and be the âvoice of demandâ in the BU and lead discussions on volume related R&Os for the BU
Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning); leading and driving the demand reviews and supporting SCM in BU sign-off sessions
Communicate forecast changes, risks, and opportunities timely and clearly
Collaborate with CoE demand planners on exceptions and big volume impacts
Promotion & Event Planning
Incorporate promotions, marketing campaigns, and external market specific events into demand forecasts
Measure and analyse uplift from promotions

What are the stages of an interview process?
