The Bachem Group is investing in a new site in Sisslerfeld in Northwestern Switzerland. This step is part of the long-term strategy to expand production capacity by the end of the decade. The new production site will play a central role in achieving these goals.
The initiation phase of the project offers you unique opportunities to shape the future organization. To strengthen our team in the Global Engineering department, we are looking for a committed Senior Project Manager Engineering (f/m/d), 100%.
Your tasks:
- Manage, coordinate and monitor the process discipline within a major project.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners, including production, MSAT, research and development, and quality assurance.
- Support the project from concept planning to commissioning, taking into account relevant and current technical standards, GMP specifications, and HSE guidelines.
- Responsibility for compliance with the required quality, regulations, budgeted costs, and deadlines for your area.
Your profile:
- University degree as an engineer specializing in process or chemical engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience as an independent process discipline lead within major projects.
- Sound expertise in the planning and technology of chemical-pharmaceutical API production plants.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements in the chemical-pharmaceutical industry as well as knowledge of clean utilities, clean rooms, and containment.
- High resilience and flexibility.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and capability to manage uncertainty while maintaining effective decision-making.
- Very good knowledge of German and English, project language in English.
