The Bachem Group is investing in a new site in Sisslerfeld in Northwestern Switzerland. This step is part of the long-term strategy to expand production capacity by the end of the decade. The new production site will play a central role in achieving these goals.
The initiation phase of the project offers you unique opportunities to shape the future organization. To strengthen our team in the Global Engineering department, we are looking for a committed Senior Process Engineer Utilities (f/m/d), 100%.
Your tasks:
- You are a technical expert (SME) for the process discipline within a major CAPEX program.
- Reviewing and optimizing the design of process media, energy systems, and exhaust air collection/treatment as well as tank farm and solvent recycling together with external planners.
- Development of strategies for energy efficiency.
- You support the project from concept planning to commissioning, taking into account relevant and current technical standards, GMP specifications, and HSE guidelines.
- Leading a team of external planners.
- Internal coordination with other SMEs of the project, i.e., Site Infrastructure.
Your profile:
- University degree as an engineer specializing in process engineering or a related field.
- Sound expertise in the planning and technology of energy systems and process media.
- Strong expertise in the field of sustainable design.
- Experience with local and process exhaust air as well as site exhaust treatment systems.
- High resilience and flexibility.
- Very good knowledge of German and English, project language in English.
