Position: Leiter IT Business Applications (m/w/d)

Location: Badische Stahlwerke GmbH, Graudenzer Straße 45, 77694 Kehl/Rhein

We are seeking a Leiter IT Business Applications (m/w/d) to start as soon as possible. Key responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility for strategic and operational alignment of IT business applications across the group
• Planning, implementation, and operation of ERP, HR, and other critical business applications
• Ensuring a stable, scalable, and secure IT application landscape
• Managing IT projects focusing on application management and digital transformation
• Coordinating external service providers and technology partners
• Developing and implementing innovative IT strategies to support business processes
• Ensuring IT compliance through security measures in line with regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, DSGVO)
• Managing budgets and optimizing costs in the IT business applications area
• Leading, developing, and mentoring the IT Business Applications team

Qualifications include:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive leadership experience in IT business applications, preferably in manufacturing
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics) and non-ERP applications (e.g., HR systems)
• Proven experience managing complex and distributed IT application landscapes
• Strong understanding of IT service management (ITIL) and project leadership
• Analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and leadership experience
• Experience managing external IT service providers and sourcing
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel to company locations
