StepStone is a rapidly growing Global Private Markets firm that provides customized investment and advisory solutions to sophisticated investors worldwide.Vice President/Director in Business Development leads and supports processes enabling existing and prospective investors to consider and ultimately commit to StepStone funds or Solutions, utilizing an estimated $200,000 – $250,000 salary range.Key Responsibilities:Lead acquisition efforts of Private Wealth with prospective investors in Switzerland across different segments of wealth management and financial institutions.Building and maintaining a qualitative Sales pipeline.Developing and communicating business development KPIsOversight of the firm’s CRM platform (Salesforce) for Private Wealth related information.Management of dataroom (Intralinks) LP access for Private Wealth prospective investors.Coordinating formal and informal responses for investors‘ requests.Assist with existing investor coverage and general business development efforts.Management of day-to-day workstreams of BD, support team members.Oversight and coordination over LP onboarding document processing and tracking.Requirements:Minimum 5+ years of prior business development, investment, consulting experience with a focus on private markets and a proven network of contacts, partners, and clients in wealth management and financial institutions in Switzerland.Knowledge of private market funds structures for wealth distribution.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, or Communications.CFA and/or CAIA a plus.Desired Skills and Abilities:Strong commercial skills.Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Strong knowledge of Private Markets.Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.Familiarity with CRM solutions, Salesforce preferred.Fluent in German (pref.
