Specialist IT Infrastructure and Networks (m/f/d) in 78052 Villingen-Schwenningen

Your tasks

• Support and administration of our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers and storage systems (Windows systems, Azure, servers, clients, backup solutions with Veeam, virtualization using VMware and much more).
• Further development and administration of the network infrastructure as well as management of servers, licenses, firewalls and telephone systems.
• Taking on IT-related tasks with the opportunity to actively contribute your expertise to optimize the company\’s IT.
• Participation in IT software projects – from planning to development and implementation.
• Coordinating the technical implementation of projects in collaboration with external service providers and suppliers.
• Creation and tracking of KPIs to measure success and optimize IT processes.
• Carrying out system and functional tests to ensure a smooth IT landscape.
• Responsibility for IT security and compliance with data protection guidelines as well as the development and implementation of appropriate measures.
• Support of the IT team in operational and strategic topics as well as participation in quality management and budget planning processes.

Your profile

• Degree in computer science or IT specialist or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in the administration of IT infrastructures and networks.
• Sound knowledge of hardware (client/server), peripherals, network technology and Microsoft products.
• Expertise in Azure, Veeam, VMware and Jira.
• Experience with organizational structures, quality systems and their interfaces.
• High flexibility, ability to work independently, open-mindedness towards new technologies and a strong team player mentality.
• Knowledge of IT security guidelines and data protection.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• First management experience is an advantage.
