In this role you drive growth in Baker Hughes’ marine gear and gearbox portfolio across Europe. You shape market and product strategy, leveraging deep industry networks to win opportunities with naval shipyards, OEMs, and defense stakeholders. You work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and leadership to enable long-term, sustainable expansion in the European naval and military marine market. This position offers a strategic impact, advanced propulsion expertise, and exposure to high‑level industry initiatives.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and lead market, customer, and policy analysis to create growth for Baker Hughes products and services
- Craft strategy for existing portfolio and explore new business models, white space, and emerging technologies
- Collaborate across functions and support incubation of new business
- Advise management and participate in strategic decision-making
- Communicate changes in policy and implementation with stakeholders
- Lead projects with long horizons (2–3 years) and visible outcomes after 2 years
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities across European naval and military programs
- Build and maintain relationships with naval shipyards, shipbuilders, propulsion OEMs, engine manufacturers, system integrators, and stakeholders
- Provide market intelligence on trends, competitor activity, procurement cycles, and naval technologies to inform planning and investments
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Extensive experience in naval, military marine, marine propulsion, or defense maritime sectors with knowledge of shipyards, propulsion systems, and engine makers
- Experience in Strategy and Growth Initiatives
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to analyze, solve problems, and lead programs/projects
- Document, plan, market, and execute programs; established project management skills
- Established relationships across naval shipyards, shipbuilders, propulsion OEMs, engine manufacturers, defense contractors, and maritime stakeholders
- Understanding of marine propulsion systems, gearbox technology, mechanical power transmission systems, and marine gears for naval vessels
- Experience in naval or military marine markets strongly preferred; commercial marine alone is insufficient
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college
