Overview
In this role you will deliver legal advisory services for cross-border M&A, manage multi-jurisdictional restructurings, and draft and review core transaction documents. You will coordinate with internal specialists and external partners to support multinational clients and develop lasting relationships. You will contribute to the growth of Baker McKenzie’s Zurich M&A practice in a dynamic, international environment. This role offers involvement in high‑caliber deals across life sciences and tech sectors.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide legal advisory services in cross-border M&A, including due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and negotiations
- Draft and review share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, investment agreements, joint venture agreements, and other corporate/commercial contracts
- Coordinate with internal specialists and external partners (tax advisors, auditors) across the firm’s global network
- Manage multi-jurisdictional corporate restructurings
- Manage and develop client relationships
- Support cross-border project execution from inception to completion
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Eight+ years of M&A or corporate law experience at leading global law firms; in-house experience at listed or multinational companies is a plus
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or similar jurisdiction; strong command of English corporate/commercial law
- Proven experience in private M&A, cross-border deals, divestments, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations/carve-outs
- Ability to manage complex multi-jurisdictional deals from start to finish
- Interest and background advising on cross-border life sciences and tech transactions
- Strong academic record (top honors)
- Native English with excellent Mandarin Chinese
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented working style; strong analytical and teamwork skills
