This position provides technical expertise for installations, audits, troubleshooting, maintenance optimization, best practice implementation, innovation initiatives, and capital projects. The role partners closely with plant leadership, engineering teams, suppliers, and global engineering stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, process standardization, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. /ph3Key Responsibilities Include /h3ulliProviding engineering expertise to support capital projects, process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and spoilage reduction initiatives within Back End operations. /liliSupporting manufacturing plants with technical problem-solving, equipment optimization, and implementation of best operating practices. /liliDriving process and maintenance standardization for Decorators, Inside Sprays, Neckers, and Palletisers across regional sites. /liliEnsuring manufacturing facilities remain informed about the latest process technologies, maintenance standards, and industry best practices. /liliAssisting plants in achieving operational, production, quality, and cost performance targets. /liliPreparing detailed technical reports following site visits, audits, investigations, and support activities. /liliCollaborating with equipment suppliers and OEM partners to support equipment performance, maintenance strategies, and process improvements. /liliDelivering technical training and guidance to plant engineering and production personnel. /liliIdentifying root causes of maintenance cost overruns and implementing sustainable corrective actions. /liliManaging and supporting small-scale engineering and plant improvement projects. /liliWorking closely with Global Engineering teams to establish, review, and implement maintenance standards and best practices. /li /ulh3What are we looking for? /h3ulliVocational or technical education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. /liliIn-depth knowledge of mechanical processes related to the back end of a two-piece beverage can manufacturing plant. /liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office applications. /liliAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating within international and cross-functional teams. /liliExperience leading technical projects and coordinating engineering activities. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. /liliFluency in English. /liliAdditional European languages would be considered an advantage. /liliSelf-motivated, self-managing approach with a strong focus on delivering results. /liliCommitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing. /li /ulpIf you have a disability and/or long-term health condition that impacts on your ability to access any of the information outlined in the job application process, please do not hesitate in letting us know, so that we can endeavour to provide it you in the most accessible format.
