Mission and responsibilities:
The CDO team at Openbank leads and drives data projects, ensuring the implementation of global policies and standards while promoting data as a key asset. The team safeguards against potential data risks, supporting both Spain’s operations and international expansion.
The role of a Data Quality & Management Associate Expert includes:
- Contribute to management of the data lifecycle, ensuring data governance and control.
- Guarantee data management standards along the digital transformation through involvement in transformation projects.
- Prioritization of set-up inventory of operative & data controls.
- Periodic certification of scope of operative & data controls.
- Participation in data structures and models‘ definition to guarantee consistency, integrity, and customer data reliability.
- Definition and coordination of control model framework: prioritizing definition and implementation of operative controls.
- Centralization of a data quality control framework.
- Classification of controls in the typology of data quality tests.
- Follow-up of remediation plans by control.
- Identification of the resolution of any major gaps, to ensure the integrity of customer data.
To be successful in the role you must have:
- At least 6 years of experience in Data Management and Data Analytics.
- Experience in cross projects management.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in the financial/banking industry.
- Ability to query data in SQL and/or Python and MS Office proficient.
- Advanced knowledge of data architectures (preferable big data architecture) and associated technologies related to data (IT stack of a financial entity).
- Preferable experience using Data management tools.
- Languages: Fluent Spanish and Advanced English (minimum requirement).
