The Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing Mandates, Secondary Occupations, and Substantial Shareholdings; Gifts and Hospitality; and Conflicts of Interest, ensuring the highest compliance standards across our operations. /ph3YOUR CHALLENGE /h3ulliManages and further develops the Compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures for Mandates and Secondary Occupations, Gifts and Entertainment, and Conflicts of Interest /liliServes as the primary contact for employees, internal stakeholders, and Compliance Officers across locations, coordinating global alignment and delivering relevant training /liliExecutes and monitors day-to-day Compliance processes, including reviews, control execution, reporting, and ad-hoc investigations, adjusting controls as needed /liliTracks regulatory developments and industry standards, implementing appropriate measures to ensure ongoing framework effectiveness /liliContributes to Compliance-related projects and supports initiatives focused on process digitalisation and continuous improvement /li /ulh3YOUR PROFILE /h3ulliBachelor/Master in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field /liliMinimum of 3 years of experience in Banking in Compliance and international private banking preferred /liliExperience in employee compliance related topics and processes /liliStrong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions /liliProactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders /liliFluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German and other languages is an advantage /li /ulpThe international reference in wealth management Julius Baer is the leading Swiss wealth management group.
