In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional squads, contribute to test strategy and execution, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices within an Agile environment. /pulliDevelop and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts (UI, API and Mobile) /liliDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines /liliCollaborate with fellow testers to improve testing tools, methodologies, and services /liliPromote best practices in QA and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives /li /ulh3Quality Assurance Test Management /h3ulliReview and analyse user stories to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability /liliContribute to backlog refinement from a testing and quality perspective /liliCollaborate with squads to define test strategies, test plans, and coverage /liliExecute test cases and document results in line with audit and compliance requirements /liliIdentify, log, and track defects with clear and structured documentation /liliProvide timely feedback to squads as part of continuous delivery /li /ulh3Collaboration Delivery Support /h3ulliWork closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve defects /liliEnsure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle /liliParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) /liliSupport squads in validating functional and workflow behaviour across interconnected systems /li /ulh3Production Support Release Management /h3ulliSupport deployment activities and transition of changes into production /liliPerform post-release validation and production testing /liliAssist in knowledge transfer and training of support teams /liliProvide troubleshooting support for issues identified post-deployment /li /ulh3Regulatory responsibilities risk management /h3ulliDemonstrate adherence to organisational values, including integrity, due diligence, and accountability /liliEnsure all testing activities meet audit, compliance, and regulatory standards /liliContribute to risk mitigation by identifying defects early and ensuring robust validation processes /li /ulh3YOUR PROFILE /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline /liliProven experience as an Automation Quality Assurance Tester, preferably in financial services; ISTQB or related certifications are advantageous /liliProficiency in Java with experience across all test levels (unit to end-to-end) /liliProven experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium) across UI and API tiers on Desktop, WebApp, and Mobile platforms /liliStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and QA practices /liliExperience testing both in-house developed and vendor-based applications /liliSolid understanding of functional workflows across interconnected systems /liliKnowledge of financial messaging standards with domain expertise in Markets Trading /liliExperience with Jenkins, Maven, and Oracle SQL; exposure to test management tools like X-ray is a plus /liliStrong analytical and communication skills, self-motivated, collaborative across global teams, with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn continuously /li /ulh3WHY JOIN JULIUS BAER? /h3pAt Julius Baer our employees enjoy the benefits of a global company with the support and collegiality of a much smaller one.
