In this challenging and exciting role, you will be part of the CFO Western Markets Switzerland team, and report to the Head of Performance Management, Business Partnering Initiatives. /ph3Your Challenge /h3ulliDrive perform in-depth quantitative analyses (using Management Information System) to identify Front Office trends insights at an early stage with respect to PL impact and the use of Balance Sheet products and define actionable measures to drive improve respective performance /liliAct as a sparring partner to the Front in the context of Finance topics, with direct exposure to senior management and key stakeholders across the bank (e.g. Accounting, Treasury, Capital Management, Credit) /liliSupport the region’s financial planning and performance management processes (incl. budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis) /liliDevelop tools focusing on further automatization and more flexible timely use of data /liliRun business case assessments and market strategy reviews on a regular basis and derive conclusions for decision-making /liliEnhance Performance Management and reporting landscape to enable tracking of Julius Baer's long term business strategy execution /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliStrong academic record: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or comparable field of study with above-average grades /liliAt least 4-5 years of experience in comparable finance or related function within banking / financial industry or in management consulting with focus on banking /liliExcellent Excel and data handling skills paired with affinity to derive in-depth quantitative analyses /liliData visualization / business intelligence tools knowledge (e.g. Tableau/Power BI) is a great advantage /liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders /liliStrong analytical, conceptual skills, fast thinker and outstanding team player /liliStrong personal drive with good organizational and multi-tasking skills as well as ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines /liliHighly motivated, independent, pro-active and meticulous work method with a results-oriented mindset and problem-solving attitude /liliGood knowledge and understanding of the Private Banking business and global financial markets /liliFluent in English (spoken and written), other languages (i.e. German) are an advantage /liliEligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position /li /ulpThe international reference in wealth management Julius Baer is the leading Swiss wealth management group.
