Your team

As part of the CFO unit you will join the Treasury Corporate FX and Hedging Team, which plays a key role in managing the FX risk and hedge accounting for the bank.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Prepare the daily macro hedge FX position report, gaining direct exposure to how the bank manages its FX risk
  • Build hands‑on expertise in FX hedging at an international financial institution by helping test a new FX risk management tool, feeding your findings directly into its development
  • Support the month‑end closing processes for interest rate risk (IRR) hedge accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining IRR hedge accounting relationships
  • Actively support the implementation of Murex MX.3, a leading hedge accounting platform and develop the automation of the hedge accounting processes
  • Treasury Singapore (international assignment)
    • Prepare the daily FX positions to be booked to Zurich
    • Build a detailed understanding of foreign currency flows across Asia
    • Identify opportunities to align and optimize FX and IRR hedging practice across regions
  • Group Accounting and Reporting (local assignment)
    • Deepen your knowledge of foreign currency accounting, including gaining a detailed understanding of the MCA (Multi‑Currency Accounting) module of SAP
    • Develop an understanding of the FX translation process (OCI translations) and the impact of net investment hedges on the FX mix of capital
    • Collaborate with the Group Accounting team responsible for the disclosure of FX, IRR and hedge accounting in the annual financial statements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above‑average grades in Financial Accounting and Reporting and Economics (graduation max. 12 months ago)
  • Initial practical experience at a financial institution or corporate treasury and with accounting skills
  • Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
  • A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus
  • Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position
