Description
This position involves providing comprehensive financial advice and tailored solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, referring clients to appropriate business partners based on needs and asset thresholds, reviewing financial and investment goals with clients, developing financial plans, and recommending brokerage products. Employees are expected to complete required licenses and training to expand their knowledge. This role requires SAFE Act registration, including registration with the federal registry system and passing the necessary background checks. Failure to maintain SAFE Act registration may lead to disciplinary actions, including termination.
Responsibilities :
- Assist clients in planning their short and long-term financial goals by creating financial plans involving stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and refers them to suitable internal service providers based on their needs and asset thresholds.
- Manage and mitigate risks in daily activities.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or existing clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and product recommendations.
Schedule :
- Monday – Friday and rotating Saturdays
Required Qualifications :
- Hold Series 7 & 66 licenses (or Series 63 & 65 in lieu of 66). If only Series 63 or 65 are held, an offer may be extended with the condition of passing the missing series within 60 days.
- At least one year of experience in the investment industry, including investment training and knowledge of investment products.
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment with goals met or exceeded.
- Goal-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
- Effective collaborator and communicator, comfortable engaging clients.
- Ability to manage goals, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and seek optimal client solutions.
- Time management skills and thorough regulatory compliance.
Desired Qualifications :
- Strong computer skills and multitasking ability in demanding environments.
- Three or more years of experience in financial services or sales with success in meeting goals.
- Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
- Insurance licenses.
