Overview
In this role you will lead the technical implementation of intranet and collaboration use cases across SharePoint and Confluence, and drive the migration towards cloud-based platforms. You will own design, development, and production operations, partnering with stakeholders to scale a firm-wide digital workplace. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own and deliver intranet and collaboration solutions across SharePoint and Confluence from requirements to production operations
- Lead the migration from on-prem Atlassian Data Center to Confluence Cloud (Enterprise) and related platform evolution
- Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions (sites, information architecture, permissions, content models, search, governance) with extensibility focus
- Develop and evolve intranet features and integrations (navigation, publishing, content rollups, automation, platform-wide components) for firm-wide use
- Create integrations and migration tooling between Confluence and SharePoint (content move, metadata mapping, link integrity, redirects, quality checks) for controlled, low-risk transition
- Act as a senior hands-on engineer: lead code reviews, establish engineering standards, improve CI/CD and operational readiness, mentor colleagues on intranet and platform ecosystem
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a completed software engineering apprenticeship
- 5+ years as a senior web / software engineer with delivery experience in enterprise platforms and high-visibility web systems like intranets
- Deep expertise in Microsoft SharePoint development and administration, including modern patterns and operating models in regulated environments
- Strong frontend skills (TypeScript/JavaScript, modern frontend) and backend services where needed
- Practical experience with Atlassian ecosystems (Confluence/Jira) and engineering solutions across on-prem and cloud setups
- Solid understanding of identity, permissions, and governance for bank-wide platforms
- Experience with migrations (planning, tooling, validation, stakeholder communication, incremental rollout)
- Pragmatic, communicative team player able to own decisions and collaborate with business, security, and IT operations
- Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
