Investment Banking Associate / real estate (all genders)

Our client is one of the leading investment banking boutiques in the DACH-region and has successfully completed a large number of transactions with a total volume of more than €50 billion since 2013. In addition, they have raised funds from institutional investors totaling over €3 billion.

Tasks

• Perform detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analysis
• Develope financial models and other financial analyses
• Help manage transaction processes and assist in structuring transactions
• Organize and prepare presentation materials for live transactions or strategic client dialogue
• Assist senior colleagues on client coverage initiatives
• Support project coordination, including client communication and managing external advisors
• Conduct real estate-, financial markets- as well as product-related research
• Coordination and supervision of interns

Requirements

• Strong academic track record with Bachelor’s degree, or above required
• 1-2 years of investment banking experience is essential, preferably in general M&A or real estate.
• Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including DCF-, LBO- & merger modelling)
• Experience in financial valuation with knowledge of comparable companies / precedent transactions required
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English
• Ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
• You comfortably interact with clients in a professional manner
• Experience in preparing and maintaining presentations and benchmarking materials
• Ability to manage projects and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of the team
• You work well under pressure and tight deadlinesYou have strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, are well organized and pro- active
