Senior Compliance Officer

As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be responsible in particular for analysing the bank's AML risks and second-level control activities mainly in the areas of trade finance transactions, qualified tax offences and market abuse. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of controls and tools.
Your missions
- Drafting the bank's annual AML risk analysis - Ongoing monitoring of AML risks and proposing appropriate measures - Second-level controls of unusual movements related to trade finance, qualified tax offences and market abuse - Point of reference for IT tools related to control topics under your responsibility, including their updating and development - Conducting functional tests of IT tools during releases and updates - Managing and updating the bank's list of high-risk countries - Drafting the annual compliance report - Participating in defining the rules of the sanctions filtering tool - Updating compliance guides and processes - AML analyses, communications to the MROS and other Compliance tasks
Your profile
- University degree in law (Bachelor and/or Master in law, ideally complemented by a specialisation in banking, financial or regulatory law) - Proven experience in the banking sector, with demonstrated expertise in compliance, particularly in AML, CDB, KYC/KYT as well as market operations - Excellent strategic and cross-functional understanding of compliance activities within a universal bank - Very good writing skills as well as strong analytical and synthesis abilities - Initiative, ability to make relevant proposals and defend them convincingly - Excellent interpersonal skills and ease in communication - Flexibility, sense of priorities and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong data analysis and result interpretation skills - Aptitude to work both in a multidisciplinary team and autonomously - Very good command of IT tools and advanced proficiency in Excel
