The Private Banking team offers bespoke banking and investment solutions to high‑net‑worth clients. Barclays Private Bankers act as trusted advisors to clients providing bespoke banking services, lending and wealth structuring, in addition to a world class range of investment solutions and products across all asset classes
Private Bankers are expected to identify, initiate, build and maintain effective introductory relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure effective opportunity streams for new clients, assets and revenues. In order to achieve this, you must be proactive in identifying and developing opportunity opportunities and must be accomplished in influencing others to create and grow effective partnerships across the organisation, and externally, to drive performance
Establishing and growing a portfolio of HNW clients, understanding their financial goals and risk appetite
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and financial guidance
Conducting regular client meetings & reviews
Become a key person and subject matter expert within the team for banking products, credit advice, investment knowledge and more complex client queries
