Language requirements: fluent in English. Ideally, you'll be interested in finance and business, proactive and a good communicator. So, we’re building on solid foundations, leveraging our embedded talent, in 10 locations across the region allowing us to draw on a wealth of local and regional insight. /p h3Working in Geneva /h3 pBarclays has been operating in Geneva since 1986, building on the best traditions of Swiss private banking combined with the global reach of Barclays Group. /p h3Purpose of the role /h3 pTo participate in the day-to-day activities of the private bank and wealth management division providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liExecution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for private bank and wealth management, working closely with high-net-worth clients and their advisors who have complex banking and investment needs. /li liCollaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives. /li liParticipation in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. /li liIdentification of opportunities, development of business cases, management of the deployment and launch of new products and services for private bank and wealth management. /li liManagement of client relationships and provision of customer service support to clients and customers, under steadily decreasing supervision, responding to questions about products and services, processing of transactions. /li liManagement of the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support in decision making in private bank and wealth management. /li liTraining and mentoring of junior colleagues. /li /ul h3Analyst Expectations /h3 ul liTo perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement. /li liRequires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise. /li liThorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise. /li liThey lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements and coordinating team resources. /li liIf the position has leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard.
