Job Description
Purpose of the role
To support PBWM with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
- Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution related to accounts, products, and services.
- Manage client relations to identify needs and deliver satisfactory service.
- Collaborate across teams to align and improve Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Identify process improvements and recommend changes.
- Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
- Create reports and presentations on performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends to adopt best practices.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.

Role: Head of Operational Rigour | Barclays | Geneva
Responsible for overseeing Geneva Operations Risk Management Framework, ensuring strong risk governance, quality assurance, and proactive risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management and Oversight
- Maintain strong risk partnerships and guide risk identification and resolution.
- Coordinate Quality Assurance, Conformance Testing, and MI for Risk Forums.
- Ensure timely completion of open actions.
- Support control environment through root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Report on Key Risks and Quality Indicators regularly.
Quality Assurance
- Oversee QA activities, ensuring thoroughness and documentation.
- Continuously improve QA processes to capture emerging risks.
- Understand operational processes, risks, and controls comprehensively.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Manage and develop a high-risk quality control team.
- Promote a high-performance culture through coaching and development.
- Set objectives aligned with business goals.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across relevant functions.
Decision Making and Reporting
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Share best practices and contribute to improvements.
- Support data-driven decisions with accurate reporting.
Risk and Control Objective

Person Specification:
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Experience managing teams in risk or control environments.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Knowledge of operational risk standards.
- Attention to detail and proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
Desirable
- Experience in financial services operations, risk, or compliance.
- Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
