Head of Group Tax (f/m/d) in Berlin

I am partnering with an international, listed technology group to hire a Head of Group Tax based in Berlin. The business operates across multiple international markets, with a particularly strong European footprint.

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of Group Tax while remaining close to the operational side of the business.

Your Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Group's tax function and overall tax strategy




• Manage international corporate tax and transfer pricing topics




• Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation across multiple jurisdictions




• Oversee tax compliance, reporting and tax-related aspects of the year-end process




• Advise the business on international transactions, restructurings and other tax matters




• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and relevant authorities




• Continuously improve tax processes, controls and governance




• Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal and senior management

Your Profile

• Strong background in corporate/international tax, ideally gained within a European jurisdiction




• Excellent knowledge of transfer pricing




• Experience working in an international Group environment




• Comfortable combining strategic responsibility with a hands-on approach




• Good understanding of tax compliance, reporting and tax governance




• Experience within a listed or complex multinational organisation is advantageous
