Our Digital & Technology practice are looking for a Senior Manager (m/w/d) to join the team in either Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt/Main or Hamburg.

In Digital & Technology, we bring extensive experience in the strategic development, design, delivery, and assurance of major IT transformations across energy, commodities, and utilities. Our approach emphasizes the skills, capabilities, and offerings needed to achieve the ideal balance of innovation, speed, and control in technology-driven change. We are dedicated to delivering value, tackling our clients\‘ most complex and high-impact challenges. As a trusted partner in enterprise architecture, we also take pride in providing practical assistance with operational industry solutions.

What you will be doing

• Maximise business value for our clients through the definition and delivery of effective and robust technology architectures.
• Analyse existing landscapes, identify areas for improvement, and help implement changes to the IT landscape.
• Substantiate the technology strategy with leading architecture and optimise with the leadership.
• Identify and evaluate suitable technologies, frameworks, and protocols for innovative but robust energy solutions.
• Drive the strategic roadmap and the tactical product execution for creating an integrated product portfolio.
• In agile working environments, take ownership of managing internal and external collaborators. Play a key role in the growth of our business and architectural practice by monitoring market trends through horizon scanning and research.

Your skills and experience

• Extensive Industry Experience: At least 6 years of experience working with corporate IT and technology in the energy, commodity, or utilities industries.
• Market Insight: Experience in commercial structures and assessing routes to market within the German market.
• Enterprise Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in enterprise architecture design and assessment.
• IT Optimisation: Experience in optimizing IT architecture to enhance business value.
• Solution Design: Previous experience in solution and functional design with relevant industry systems or SAP, ideally in renewable energy generation, trading, retail, or networks.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated project management, business acumen, analytical capabilities, and excellence in people management and career development.
• Modern Technologies: Strong foundation in modern digital technologies such as cloud, microservices, containerization, distributed ledgers, low-code, and robotic automation solutions.
• Innovative Mindset: Creative and entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced C1 proficiency in both German and English is essential.
